Program Schedule for 3DEM-6
March 28-30, 2017 - The University of California Berkeley
Greetings members of the 3DEM community. The program for the 3DEM-6 Symposium, to be held in Berkeley, California, March 28-30, has been finalized, and we believe that we have an excellent program for this three day meeting. The schedule that can be down-loaded below outlines talks and posters which span a broad range of topics covering modeling, inversion, and data. Oral presentations will be 20 minutes long with 5 minutes for questions, and poster presentations will be included with both morning and afternoon breaks between the talks for viewing and author engagement. The venue is the beautiful International House on the University of California Berkeley Campus, and the program includes a Wednesday night gourmet banquet at the Revival Bar and Kitchen in Downtown Berkeley. Details on both of these venues can be found by navigating to the 3DEM-6 Venue page on the left. If you are planning on attending but haven’t registered yet, you can do so via PayPal on the 3DEM-6 Registration web page, and a list of accommodations can be found below.
Hotel rooms are available on campus and near the university. Hotel rates range from ~$135 to ~$250/night. Participants are requested to make their own hotel reservations. You can find a list of nearby hotels via the button-link below, and are welcome to use other commercial hotel reservation services and websites such as www.hotels.com, www.priceline.com, www.travelocity.com, as well as Airbnb (www.airbnb.com). The planning of evening events associated with 3DEM-6, including that of Monday night March 27th, is ongoing and has not been finalized. It is assumed the symposium will adjourn sometime mid-to-late afternoon on Thursday, March 30th. Thus we recommend making hotel reservations for the nights of the 27th through 29th, and possibly the 30th depending on where you will be traveling after the workshop.
